Christopher is a dynamic entrepreneur who began his career in Kazakhstan, negotiating and executing oil processing contracts for Hamburg-based Select Energy. He was also actively involved in LPG exports and worked with several other trading entities before establishing his own ventures in Germany and Dubai.
Christopher is the Founder, Managing Director, and CEO of Petrichor Energy, where he leads the company’s strategic direction and international growth.
David Sacht
Managing Partner
David is Managing Partner of Petrichor. He is responsible for origination, execution, financing and oversight of the firms investments.
David is a former senior member of the investment team at Appian Capital Advisory, one of the largest private equity firms focussed on the metals and mining industry, where he build a significant track record of transactions and has signification portfolio management experience. Prior to Appian, David was an investment banker with Morgan Stanley in their Natural Resources Group in London.
Lars Liebig
Commercial Director
Lars is Commercial Director at Petrichor Energy, with more than 20 years of experience at German energy majors E.ON and Uniper, where he held senior roles in trading and commercial management. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Cologne.
Prior to joining Petrichor Energy, Lars was Managing Director of Uniper’s international oil refining and supply business in Dubai, where he oversaw global trading operations and built strong commercial networks across the Middle East and Asia.
He brings deep expertise in trading commodity markets, risk management, supply-chain optimisation, and high-value negotiations and is widely recognised for his strategic mindset and talent for building high-performing teams in volatile market environments.
Sinoy Mathew
Head of Finance
Sinoy is Head of Finance at Petrichor Energy. With over 15 years of experience in the oil and energy sector, he has worked with leading oil companies across the UAE.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from a reputable Indian university. Prior to his current roles, Sinoy held the position of Chief Accountant at Gulf Petrol Supplies LLC, a company owned by the ruling family of Fujairah, where he played a key role in financial operations and strategic planning.
Sinoy’s strong financial expertise and deep industry insight make him a valuable contributor to the continued growth and operational success of Petrichor Energy.
